Shaping

It took Blizzard a total of 48 minutes and 33 seconds to be shaped. This was done in a span of three days and on the first day of shaping with Dr. Trench, Blizzard was trained for 18 minutes and 34 seconds. We would reinforce her by pushing the hand switch when she would be near the lever and even when she was on top of it. We also would reinforce her when she would face towards the lever and kind of head that way. I definitely think Blizzard learned this easily of course it was the first day but she was able to push the lever a total of 6 times and was reinforced 31 times, so I think she was getting the hang of it. I think her being able to push the lever on the first day shows that the reinforcement was working because she knew she wanted the chocolate pellets and she knew she had to achieve a task to receive them.
