On extinction day 2, Blizzard was not feeling it at all and learned from day 1 that wasn't getting any chocolate pellets anytime soon. There was a slight moment of spontaneous recovery when she first got in the box but after that, she knew what was going on and didn't want to press the lever anymore. She pressed the lever 191 times which is significantly less than the first day, but I'm sure we all understand why. You can see from the chart that her response rate decreased significantly during the last 10 minutes of extinction, she just sat there looking at us probably wondering what is going on. You can also see that in a span of 5 minutes she went from 17 presses to 44 presses which we could probably consider an extinction burst. I literally felt so bad for her when this was happening because she worked so hard just to end up getting nothing in the end. #JusticeforBlizzard 😁
